A graduate of the conservatories of Toulouse and Perpignan, where she studied under Christian Papis, Alice Gontero obtained her Diploma of Musical Studies with honors in 2020. She has participated in master classes with Claudine Ducret, Jean-Marc Bouget, and Jean-Philippe Lafont. In 2021, she perfected her skills in the German repertoire, participating in the Internationale Sommerakademie am Rhein with the tenor J-N Briend and the singing leaders C. Domnick and I. Kudela. She was a semi-finalist in the Gabriela Beňačková competition in 2021.

Alice also studied theatre with Nathalie Barolle for five years and has followed numerous stage courses with Frédéric Ortiz, Nicole Garretta and Pascal Papini.

Notable roles: Boulotte (Bluebeard Offenbach), Madame Phidias (Phiphi Christiné) and Almaïde (La Caravane du Caire Grétry), Marcellina (The Marriage of Figaro).

Concert appearances: Poulenc, La Voix Humaine, Mozart Requiem, B. Salles, the Seven Last Words of Christ on the Cross

Theatre roles: Helena (A Midsummer Night’s Dream, French version), Virginie (The Italian Straw Hat, E. Labiche), Estelle (Huit Clos, Sartre)
