Xavier Flabat trained at the Lille Conservatoire, before following lessons with mezzo-soprano Christine Solhosse and tenor Thierry Dran. He currently works with mezzo-soprano Mariam Sarkissian in Paris and baritone Jeremy Carpenter in Stokholm.

Notable roles include Prince Charming (Cinderella, Pauline Viardot, Opéra Royal de Wallonie), Don Jose, Faust, Hermosa (l’île de Tulipatan, Offenbach), Octave (Octave le Magnifique, Grétry, Théâtre de Reims), Don Alonze (L’Amant Jaloux, Grétry), Scopetto (Sirène, Auber, Théâtre Impérial de Compiègne), Chevalier des Grieux (Manon, Massenet). This season, he will play the role of Hoffmann in The Tales of Hoffmann, under the direction of Laurent Brack.

Concert appearances: Seven Words of Christ on the Cross, Franck; Requiem, von Suppé; Lauda Sion, Mendelssohn, Mass in D, Dvorak; Petite messe solennelle, Rossini.
